Cindy Sorrell-CarrollLVT, CVPM, CCFPPractice Manager
Cindy has been in the veterinary field since 1994. She graduated from Wayne County Community College Wayne State University (WCCC / WSU) Technical Program in 1998 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Veterinary Technology. In 1999, she began teaching evening classes for WCCC / WSU as a lab instructor for clinical pathology, radiology, anesthesia, and small animal nursing. She also has some experience in emergency medicine.
Cindy earned her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) title by passing the certification exam in October of 2012.
Most recently, Cindy has successfully completed a Compassion Fatigue certification course and earned the designation of Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP). She is grateful to bring awareness to this area of concern in the veterinary field and hopes to help support her staff and colleagues with this training whenever possible.
She received the Veterinary Technician of the Year Award 2003 from the Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians. She is continuing her education by pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the:
